Hello Western Hills Community,
It’s been a great start to the school year but we could all certainly do without this heat! Yes, tomorrow (Thursday) is going to be another very warm day. I encourage all students to bring water bottles with them to school to stay hydrated throughout the day.
As you may be aware, we have some areas of the building that are air conditioned and many that are not. Throughout this heat wave, teachers with A/C have been very good about sharing their room with classes that do not have A/C. As always at Western Hills, everyone is looking out for each other.
All after school activities have been cancelled for tomorrow and PE classes will not be going outside. PE classes will closely monitor their students and not do anything that will be too overbearing in these conditions.
