8/31/17
Hello Western Hills Community,
School is finally starting! We have been busy for weeks getting Western Hills ready and we are excited to finally have students walk through our doors on Tuesday morning.
Arrival on the first day
Students that arrive by bus will wait in the cafeteria until 7:50 and then go to their homerooms. Students that get dropped off will wait in the auditorium until 7:50 before going to homeroom. Any student that arrives after 7:50 should go directly to homeroom.
If you are dropping off your child please drop them off in the front of the building. I know it’s the first day and everyone is excited (and nervous) but it is very important that, when you pull up to the school, you drive as far down as you can before stopping. Please pull up to the next car and do not stop in front of the building if there is room to keep moving down along the front of the building. We follow this procedure every day, all year. It is especially important on the first day because of the large number of kids that tend to get dropped off that day.
For any students that do not know their homerooms, staff will be on hand to assist them.
Open House
Open House will take place on September 27th for 6th and 7th graders and September 28th for 8th graders. Both nights will start at 6:30 pm.
Unpaid meals policy
Please see the attachment regarding unpaid meals.
